Khamenei: Iran Achieved Victory Over Zionist Entity and U.S, Nation Will Never Surrender
TEHRAN – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei declared a “great victory” for Iran over both the Zionist regime and the United States in a video message released Thursday, praising the Iranian Armed Forces and people for their unity and strength in the face of foreign aggression.
“Despite all the fanfare and threats, the Zionist regime was nearly destroyed under the blows of the Islamic Republic,” Khamenei said, describing recent missile strikes that broke through Israel’s advanced defenses and targeted both military and urban centers.
He also extended congratulations for what he called Iran’s success in standing up to the U.S., asserting that Washington’s direct intervention failed to achieve its objectives. “The United States attacked us out of fear that the Zionist regime would collapse completely, but they failed,” he said, calling for legal action against U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Khamenei mocked U.S. President Donald Trump’s rhetoric, accusing him of exaggerating Iran’s response to mask failure. “Their words reveal the truth: this was not about uranium or missiles—it was about trying to force Iran into submission,” he said, calling such ambitions absurd and insulting to a proud and ancient nation.
He ended his message by saluting the extraordinary unity of the Iranian people and warned that Iran would respond forcefully to any future aggression. “The Islamic Republic delivered a harsh slap to the U.S., striking their Al Udeid base in Qatar,” he noted. “This was no small event, and it may happen again.”
