Joe Biden quits 2024 presidential race, and eyes shift to Kamala Harris

Shortly after upholding to the running, Joe Biden bows to his party’s pressure and announced Sunday his withdrawal, shifting all eyes towards his Vice President Kamala Harris.
” Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year,” wrote Biden on X.
The edorsement extended to fundraising for Harris through his campain website. According to the Democratic fundraising platform, small-dollar donations for the Vice President campaign totalled $46.7 million.
On the other hand, the Democratic party promises an “orderly process” to nominate their next candidate, while kamala Harris needs to secure the nomination of almost 4,700 convention delegates.
Conversely, the Republican rivals consider Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as two sides of the same coin, criticising the latter about several issues including the illegal border crossings.
