Italy Condemns Zionist Attack on Catholic Church in Gaza as “Unacceptable”

ROME – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Thursday strongly condemned the Zionist entity’s deadly airstrike on the Holy Family Church in Gaza, which left two women dead, according to media reports.

“Israeli raids on Gaza also hit the Holy Family Church. The attacks against the civilian population that Israel has been carrying out for months are unacceptable,” Meloni stated on X, stressing that no military justification can excuse such actions.

Italy’s Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani echoed the condemnation, calling the strike “a serious act against a Christian place of worship” and urging an immediate end to the violence. “The attacks by the Israeli army against the civilian population in Gaza are no longer acceptable,” he wrote, emphasizing the urgent need to “stop and find peace.”
