Is Netanyahu Blocking Biden’s Peace Deal in the Middle East to Secure an Early Foreign Policy victory for Trump ?

Netanyahu is determined not to allow President Joe Biden to achieve success in brokering peace in Gaza and Lebanon during the remaining months of his administration, especially with the imminent return of Donald Trump to the White House. As Trump prepares to take office in just weeks, Netanyahu’s stance underscores the shifting dynamics in U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.

In the context of the ongoing crisis, efforts by the Biden administration to strike a peace deal for Gaza and Lebanon have faced significant hurdles. Zionist officials, meanwhile, have communicated their intention to accelerate efforts to broker a ceasefire in Lebanon before Trump’s return to power.  A Zionist official met with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence, followed by meetings at the White House to brief the Biden administration on the progress of negotiations. Zionist sources revealed that discussions included a proposal for a ceasefire mediated by both Western and Russian powers, with the hope of delivering an early foreign policy victory for Trump.
