Ireland calls on the EU to urgently “review” its association agreement with the Zionist entity

DUBLIN – Ireland urged the European Union (EU) on Sunday to “urgently review” its association agreement with the Zionist entity due to the latter’s ongoing violations of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, notably the genocide unfolding in Gaza since October 7.
The Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris said in a statement: “More than 80% of Gaza is under evacuation order, while aids are limited to fewer than 80 trucks per day in June and July.”
He added, “Palestinians seek refuge in schools that are targeted. We have all been horrified by the uncalculable war crimes committed in Gaza. Those responsible for these attacks must be prosecuted in court.”
The Irish Prime Minister has described the world’s situation to be “on the brink of an abyss.” But he continued, “not all tools are used to end the violence,” calling for an “urgent review” of the EU’s association agreement with the Zionist entity.
PM Simon Harris’s statement comes a day after the Zionist occupation forces committed a massacre in the Al-Tabin school, which shelters displaced Palestinians in the Al-Daraj neighbourhood of Gaza City, leaving up to 100 martyrs and hundreds injured.
The toll of martyrs in Gaza has so far amounted to 39,790 since October 7, along with other humanitarian crises including famine and outbreaks of disease.
