Iran’s Petroleum Minister : U.S. Cannot Halt Iran’s Oil Exports

TEHRAN – Iran’s Petroleum Minister, Mohsen Paknejad, has dismissed U.S. efforts to bring the country’s oil exports to zero, stating that such an objective will never be achieved. Speaking during the February 10 rallies marking the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Paknejad emphasized that Iran’s strength lies in its people, whose unwavering support has sustained the Revolution from its inception under Imam Khomeini to its leadership under Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

He condemned the U.S. administration’s failed policies, particularly the “maximum pressure” campaign initiated by US President Donald Trump.

Paknejad also criticized Washington for aligning itself with Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he described as one of the world’s most criminal figures. He denounced their claims of supporting human rights while enabling atrocities in Gaza.

The minister further asserted that Zionist threats are not to be taken seriously, as Iran’s power across multiple sectors is well recognized. He highlighted Iran’s self-sufficiency in the oil industry, achieved over 46 years despite foreign skepticism, reinforcing the resilience of the Islamic Republic against external pressures.
