Iran’s IRGC Warns Zionist Entity of “Regret” if Lebanon Strikes Continue

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has warned that continued Zionist attacks on Lebanon will prompt a regret‑inducing response from Tehran, interpreting those strikes as a violation of the fragile ceasefire agreement. The IRGC stated that if the Zionist attacks do not stop immediately, it will deliver a response that makes the “occupying aggressors in the region” regret their actions.

Iran’s threat comes amid conflicting interpretations of the ceasefire: Pakistani mediators say the agreement includes a halt to hostilities in Lebanon, while Zionist and US officials insist it does not apply. Despite the truce between Iran and the United States, the Zionist entity continued its military campaign with intense airstrikes across Beirut and southern Lebanon, resulting in heavy casualties and raising fears the ceasefire could collapse.

In some reports, Iranian officials have even signaled that Tehran could withdraw from the ceasefire altogether if attacks on Lebanon persist, and have prepared potential targets for retaliation. This escalation underscores deep tensions over how the ceasefire is defined and whether it can hold given ongoing military actions in the region.
