Iran’s Army to Add 1,000 Strategic Drones, Boosting Defense Capabilities

Iran’s Army has announced the imminent integration of 1,000 strategic drones into its forces, a move aimed at strengthening the country’s defense capabilities. These drones, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, are expected to join the Army in the coming days.

Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari, Commander of Iran’s Army Ground Forces, highlighted the Army’s increasing ability to acquire advanced military equipment. He emphasized that the new drones possess four key capabilities: long-range, precision, intelligence, and network orientation, which will enhance Iran’s ability to respond to various threats.

In recent years, Iran has made significant strides in its drone technology, solidifying its position as a major player in unmanned aerial systems, both regionally and globally.
