Iran Summons German and British Envoys Over Anti-Tehran Actions

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has summoned the German ambassador and the British chargé d’affaires in Tehran to protest recent anti-Iran measures at the UN Human Rights Council.

Forouzandeh Vadiati, director-general of Women and Human Rights Affairs, condemned the “irresponsible and provocative” actions of both countries. She criticized Germany’s past supply of chemical weapons to Saddam Hussein and accused Britain of long-standing interference in Iran’s internal affairs.

Vadiati also denounced their support for Zionist war crimes and alignment with U.S. sanctions, warning that such actions erode the credibility of U.N. human rights bodies.
