Iran Says Nuclear Deal Within Reach Ahead of U.S. Talks

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, on Tuesday, that an agreement was “within reach,” ahead of a new session of talks with the United States on Iran’s nuclear program, scheduled for Thursday.
Iran will resume tiranhese talks “determined to reach a fair and equitable agreement, as soon as possible,” Araghchi said in a post on his social media account.
Tehran and Washington are scheduled to hold a third round of negotiations in Geneva on Thursday, focused on Iran’s nuclear program, following the resumption of dialogue on February 6 in Oman.
Araghchi referred to a “historic opportunity to conclude an unprecedented agreement that takes into account our mutual concerns and interests.” “An agreement is within reach, but only if diplomacy is given priority,” he added.
Previous discussions between Tehran and Washington were brought to a sudden halt in June 2025 by the 12-day attacks launched by the Zionist entity against Iran.
