Iran Mocks US Over 15-Point Middle East Deal: ‘You Are Negotiating With Yourself’
An Iranian military spokesperson ridiculed the United States on Wednesday, following reports that Washington had sent Tehran a 15-point plan aimed at ending the Middle East war.
Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for the unified command of Iran’s armed forces at the Khatam al‑Anbiya Central Headquarters, taunted U.S. leadership, asking, “Has the level of your inner struggle reached the stage of you negotiating with yourself?” He added, “People like us can never get along with people like you.”
Zolfaqari also warned that U.S. investments and pre-war energy prices would not return as long as Washington refuses to recognize that regional stability is guaranteed by Iranian forces. The statement came a day after U.S. President Donald Trump claimed Tehran is willing to negotiate to end the conflict.
