Iran Claims ‘Historic Victory’ as US Reportedly Accepts Tehran’s 10-Point Plan

Iran has declared what it described as a “historic victory” following reports that the United States has agreed in principle to a set of conditions proposed by Tehran, signaling a potentially significant shift in regional dynamics.

According to the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, cited by Tasnim News Agency, Washington has accepted a 10-point framework put forward by Iran. The reported terms include a commitment to non-aggression, recognition of continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, and acceptance of Iran’s uranium enrichment activities. Additional provisions involve the lifting of both primary and secondary US sanctions, as well as the termination of resolutions imposed by the UN Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors.

The plan also reportedly includes financial compensation to Iran, the withdrawal of US combat forces from the region, and a cessation of hostilities across multiple fronts, including conflicts involving allied groups in Lebanon. If confirmed, these terms would mark a substantial shift in US policy toward Iran, addressing several core disputes that have defined tensions between the two countries for years.

In its statement, the council described the outcome as an “undeniable, historic, and crushing defeat” for its adversaries, framing the development as a strategic breakthrough for Tehran. However, no official confirmation has yet been issued by United States authorities, leaving uncertainty over the scope, implementation, and durability of any such agreement.
