Iran: 13 Terrorists Neutralized in Southeastern Province (Army)

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced on Wednesday that its forces had neutralized 13 terrorists during three coordinated operations in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
In a statement released on its website, the IRGC reported that its ground forces, in collaboration with the country’s intelligence services, conducted counter-terrorism operations in the counties of Iranshahr, Khash, and Saravan early Wednesday morning.
The statement also indicated that some terrorists were apprehended during these operations, though the specific number has not been disclosed.
Providing further details about the operation in Iranshahr, Iranian police spokesperson Saeed Montazerolmahdi revealed that security forces had eliminated eight terrorists who had participated in an attack on police patrols in the same county last Friday, which resulted in the deaths of five police officers, according to the Tasnim news agency.
