
Algeria is set to host the 3rd edition of the Arab Actuarial Conference from July 8 to 10, as announced in a statement by the Algerian Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (UAR) on Wednesday.
This event is organized in partnership with the UAR, the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF), and MenaMoney, a Bahraini company specializing in financial events.
Under the theme “Towards Resilient Societies,” the conference will gather actuarial experts, representatives from the insurance, investment, pension, and healthcare sectors, as well as officials from financial regulatory bodies. Participants will discuss the nature and assessment of financial risks, according to the same source.
The primary objective of the conference is to “tackles emerging issues and future themes affecting actuarial work,” especially “insurance, finance, banking, healthcare, pension and risk management.”
Furthermore, this event will offer a “unique opportunity” for communication and the exchange of expertise among participants, along with the presentation of innovative solutions in savings and retirement, the statement concluded.
