Instrumentalization of Humanitarian Aid in Gaza: Former MEP Warns of Zionist Agenda

MADRID – With the creation of the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” (GHF) last February, the Zionist occupation has reached new heights of perversion in the instrumentalization of humanitarian aid, denounced former Spanish Member of the European Parliament Manu Pineda.
“Under the guise of food distribution, this organization—run by former U.S. intelligence agents and mercenaries—serves the Zionist project of turning Gaza into an archipelago of 21st-century concentration camps,” he wrote in an op-ed published in international media.
A well-known activist for the Palestinian cause, Pineda said the ultimate goal of this so-called “Foundation” is to “enforce the ‘voluntary emigration’ of the Palestinian population through starvation, militarized survival, and colonial demographic control.”
He argued that the GHF fits into the “Zionist continuity” of the 1948 Plan Dalet, which was based on “ethnic cleansing through massacres and expulsions,” as well as the occupation of Palestinian territories in 1967, centered on the fragmentation of those territories and the creation of “concentration camps disguised as humanitarian aid and managed by mercenaries.”
Even worse, he added, “the GHF embodies the final stage of colonialism” and is even “the culmination of the ongoing genocide,” claiming that its mission is “not to provide aid, but to dismantle Palestinian sovereignty and consolidate apartheid.”
Stating that Gaza is “not just a tragedy” but rather “a testing ground for a new international order based on privatized dehumanization,” Pineda questioned whether the international community will “allow philanthropy to become a new genocidal weapon.”
“Gaza doesn’t need transit zones. Gaza needs justice, self-determination, and freedom,” he concluded.
