IFE 2026: Algerian Participation Crowned by Export Deals, Cooperation Agreements

Algeria’s participation in the International Food & Drink Event (IFE) 2026, held in London from March 30 to April 1, resulted in the signing of export contracts and cooperation agreements, according to a statement released Wednesday by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.

The participation, which featured twenty Algerian companies under the ministry’s supervision, led to the signing of two export contracts for several Algerian products, aimed at increasing their access to new markets, the same source added.

On this occasion, it was also agreed to organize field visits to Algeria for a number of foreign professionals and economic operators, with the goal of showcasing the production capacities of Algerian companies and exploring partnership and investment opportunities.

The event was further marked by the signing of cooperation agreements between Algerian economic operators and their counterparts from several countries, helping to develop sustainable trade relations and strengthen the presence of Algerian products in international markets, the statement noted.

These results are part of ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion to support Algerian businesses, encourage their access to international markets, and promote exports.
