ICPAC : Temperatures in the Horn of Africa expect a spike between August and October

According to the climate forecast agency of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), the Horn of Africa region will experience warmer temperatures between August and October.
The Forecast and Applications Center (ICPAC) said that temperatures in some countries in the Horn of Africa could reach 35 degrees Celsius, and added that the eastern parts of the region are expected to be drier than usual, while the northern sector will be more humid.
According to ICPAC, the Horn of Africa is highly vulnerable to climate-related hazards, because it experiences “irregular precipitation, as well as temperature spikes, droughts and floods, which increased in frequency and intensity throughout the recent years.”
