The Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Wednesday welcomed the President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mohamed Younes El-Menfi, upon his arrival in the Houari-Boumediene International Airport of Algiers.
The President of the Libyan Presidential Council is in Algeria to attend the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), to be held in Algiers, on September 4-10, under the slogan “A Gateway to New Opportunities.”
After listening to the national anthems of both countries and saluting the national flag, the President of the Republic and the President of the Libyan Presidential Council reviewed detachments of the Republican Guard, who paid military honours to them.
