The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Wednesday welcomed the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, upon his arrival in the Houari-Boumediene International Airport of Algiers.
The Mauritanian President is in Algeria to attend the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), to be held in Algiers on September 4-10 under the slogan “A Gateway to New Opportunities.”
After listening to the national anthems of both countries and saluting the national flag, the President of the Republic and his Mauritanian counterpart reviewed detachments of the Republican Guard, who paid military honours to them.
