IATF 2025 Continues with Official Visits, Partnership Agreements, and Economic Meetings

The 4th Intra-African Trade Faire continues Monday, at the Exhibition Centre of Algiers, with a programme featuring several official visits, the signing of partnership agreements, and economic and thematic meetings.
This fifth day began with a visit by the president of the Council of the Nation, Azzouz Nasri, to the various stands of the Fair. It also included further signings of agreements and visits by Algerian and foreign officials. An Algeria-Zimbabwe economic dialogue was scheduled in the afternoon (1 p.m.–4 p.m.), alongside a “fireside chat” led by the chairman of the IATF Advisory Council (4 p.m.–5 p.m.).
On the sidelines of these activities, several events are still being held at the Exhibition Palace, including the African Research and Innovation Hub (ARIH), the African Automobile Show, the AU Youth Startup, and the Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX). Organized under the slogan “Bridges to New Opportunities,” this edition of the IATF (September 4–10) brings together delegations from 140 countries and more than 2,000 African and international companies, including around 200 Algerian firms. The event is expected to welcome nearly 35,000 professional visitors and result in trade and investment agreements valued at over $44 billion.
