IATF 2025 : Algerian Culture Pavilion Wins “Best Pavilion” Award at CANEX 2025
The award for “Best Pavilion” participating in the CANEX 2025 African Creative Days was bestowed on the pavilion of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, at an award ceremony held on Wednesday evening at the Exhibition Centre of Algiers, during the closing ceremony of the fourth Intra-Africa Trade Fair (IATF-2025), the ministry said Thursday in a statement.
Designed with a highly aesthetic and technical vision, conveying values and messages of civilisation, the pavilion of the Department of Culture and Arts served as an “extraordinary ambassador for Algerian culture, in all its plural beauty, richness, diversity and values of humanism, peace and respect among peoples,” the ministry said in the statement.
“The director of the Organisation for the Dissemination of Cultural and Artistic Products (DODPCA), Smaïl Inzarene, received the award from the commissioner of the fourth Intra-African Trade Fair, Larbi Latrèche.”
“The Ministry of Culture and Arts recently won the award for best pavilion at the 2025 International Tourism and Travel Fair,” the statement said.
The award reflects the desire to “make Algerian culture a civilising forum and a networking platform within the cultural economy with various African and international partners”.
This distinction also reflects “the ministry’s strategic vision to boost Algeria’s cultural presence and influence on the regional and international stage,” the statement concluded.
