In his televised speech, Qassem declared that Hezbollah has “tens of thousands of trained fighters” and extensive military capabilities, making them prepared for a sustained conflict. He affirmed that only the battlefield could curb Zionist actions, especially when combined with pressure on Zionist home front.
Qassem criticized Netanyahu’s ambitions, stating that Netanyahu sought to crush Hezbollah, invade Lebanon, and reshape the Middle East but has ultimately failed. He accused the Zionist entity of relying on “brutal genocide and exceptional aerial capabilities,” supported by the United States, as its primary achievements. Despite Zionist attempts, including targeted assassinations of leaders, Hezbollah’s strength and resistance have thwarted these strategies, he said.
