Hamas Releases More “Israeli” Prisoners Under Ceasefire Deal

The Palestinian resistance group Hamas released three more “Israeli” prisoners in Gaza on Thursday as part of a ceasefire agreement. Among those freed was Zionist female soldier Agam Berger, who was handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Jabalia refugee camp.

Two additional captives, Arbel Yehud and Gadi Mozes, were also transferred to the Red Cross in Khan Younis. Five Thai workers were released alongside them near the ruins of former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar’s home.

The Zionist forces confirmed the handover, stating that all released prisoners were safely transferred for medical evaluations. Under the first phase of the ceasefire deal, which took effect on January 19, 33 “Israeli” prisoners are set to be exchanged for approximately 1,700 to 2,000 Palestinian detainees.

So far, ten “Israelis” have been freed in return for 290 Palestinian prisoners, with another 110 prisoners expected to be released on Thursday.
