Hamas accepts proposed deal for Gaza ceasefire

The Palestinian group Hamas accepted on Monday the latest proposal for a 60-day ceasefire with the Zionist occupation, according to an Egyptian official source.
Senior Hamas official Basem Naim wrote on Facebook: “The movement has handed over its approval to the new proposal presented by the mediators.”
The Egyptian official source said the latest proposal included a suspension of the occupation’s military operations for 60 days and a path to a comprehensive deal to end the nearly two-year war.
According to Gaza Health Ministry, the Zionist occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza has killed at least 62,004 Palestinians and wounded 156,230 others
