Gold and Silver Prices Soar to Record Highs

Gold and silver prices surged over 4% on Thursday morning, hitting historic levels during the session, according to trading data. Gold reached approximately $5,600 per troy ounce, while silver climbed to around $119 per troy ounce.

April gold futures on the New York COMEX rose 4.54% from the previous close, gaining $243.24 to settle at $5,582.69 per troy ounce. Earlier in the session, gold touched an all-time high of $5,625.89 per ounce.

Meanwhile, March silver futures increased 4.15% to $118.237 per ounce, after reaching a record intraday peak of $119.
