TBILISSI – The final results of the legislative elections held in late October in Georgia confirmed the victory of the ruling party, the Georgian Electoral Commission announced on Saturday.
The ruling Georgian Dream party secured 53.93% of the vote, while an opposition party alliance garnered 37.79%, according to the final figures released by the Commission.
Following the elections, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze described the vote as “entirely fair” and reiterated that “European integration” remains Tbilisi’s “top priority.”
