Gaza: Zionist occupation ramps up offensive on Jabalia camp

GAZA – At least 22 Palestinians have been martyred in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza as the Zionist occupation forces push deeper into the area. The toll of martyrs has amounted to 36 across the Strip in the last 24 hours.
On 6 October, the Zionist occupation launched a renewed ground assault on the north as part of the so-called “general’s plan,” which aims to turn the northern area into a “closed military zone.”
Consequently, at least 220 people have been martyred since the start of the operation, according to the civil defence in Jabalia.
The attacks have also trapped thousands of Palestinian civilians. Accordingly, people in the camp are reporting severe shortages of food and water supplies. Meanwhile, the United Nations has expressed concern over a looming risk of famine.
The Zionist genocidal aggression has by far resulted in the martyrdom of 42,175 citizens and the injury of 98,336 others. However, the figures do not encompass thousands of people trapped under the rubble.
