Gaza: Hamas Announces Agreement for End of Aggression and Withdrawal of Occupation Forces

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas announced Thursday that it has reached an agreement providing for an end to the aggression on the Gaza Strip, the withdrawal of Zionist occupation forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and a prisoner exchange.
In a statement released to the public, the movement said the agreement comes after “serious and responsible negotiations” around the proposal put forward by U.S. President Donald Trump, aimed at ending the genocidal aggression against the Palestinian people.
Hamas called on the U.S. president, the guarantor countries of the agreement, as well as Arab, Muslim, and international parties, to ensure that the Zionist occupier “fully abides by the agreed commitments and is not allowed to evade their implementation.”
The movement also praised “the heroic resistance of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in Al-Quds, in the West Bank, and among the diaspora,” emphasizing that “these sacrifices have thwarted the Zionist occupier’s plans to subdue and displace the population.”
It further reaffirmed that “the sacrifices of the Palestinian people will not be in vain” and that they will remain “steadfast in defending their national rights until freedom, independence, and self-determination are achieved.”
