Gaza Experiences Most Intense Bombing Since World War II (UNRWA)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced on Friday that Gaza, which has been subjected to severe Zionist aggression, is currently experiencing the most intense bombing of civilians since World War II.
“In the past year, Gaza has experienced the most intense bombardment of a civilian population since World War II,” stated UNRWA in a declaration commemorating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, observed annually on November 29.
The agency underscored that Palestinians are confronting “remains the longest unresolved refugee crisis in the world.”
The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, recognized by the UN since 1977, was established through Resolution 181, adopted by the UN General Assembly on November 29, 1947.
On this international day, the global community reaffirms its solidarity with the Palestinian people, who aspire to a future characterized by freedom and peace, while also reminding us that the issue of Palestine remains unresolved.
