Gaza Enters Fifth Stage of Malnutrition Amid Zionist Blockade, Says Official

Khalil Al-Daqran, the medical director of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, said that the Gaza Strip has entered Stage 5 of malnutrition, the most severe according to the World Health Organization’s classification, due to the tight blockade imposed by the Zionist occupation.

He added in a statement to Voice of Palestine that Gaza’s children are experiencing the most severe stages of malnutrition due to the lack of food and infant formula, which threatens their lives.

Al-Daqran further emphasized that approximately 200,000 patients with chronic diseases are at risk of death due to the depletion of their medications.
