Gaza: 40 Dead in Zionist Raids in Khan Younis

Reports indicate that at least 40 Palestinians have been killed and dozens more injured on Wednesday due to raids carried out by the Zionist forces in Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, according to the Wafa news agency.
Medical teams recovered the bodies of 40 dead, the majority of whom were women and children, along with numerous injured individuals following a ground incursion and airstrikes targeting areas in southeastern Khan Younis, Wafa reported.
The family of journalist Ahmed Al-Zard stated that several of his relatives were among the martyrs, including his brother, uncle, and cousins. He himself sustained serious injuries, as did his mother and brother, the same source added.
The Palestinian journalist, his mother, and six other family members—most of whom are in critical condition—were subsequently transferred to the European Hospital, Wafa further noted.
Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist occupation forces have persisted in their aggression against the Gaza Strip through land, sea, and air operations, resulting in 41,638 martyrs, predominantly women and children, and 96,460 injuries, while thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble.
