Freezing Ukraine Conflict ‘Unacceptable’ for Russia, Says Kremlin Spox

Russia’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has stated that freezing the Ukraine conflict is unacceptable, emphasizing that Moscow is determined to achieve the goals of its special military operation. This comes after reports suggested President Putin might agree to freeze the conflict along current frontlines if territorial realities are respected.
Peskov also criticized the Biden administration for continuing to support Ukraine’s war efforts, pointing to the recent approval of long-range missiles for Ukraine and reports suggesting further military assistance. Despite this, Peskov noted that President Putin is open to dialogue and negotiations, including with former U.S. President Donald Trump.
