A fire broke out at an oil refinery in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on Wednesday, according to the country’s emergency services.
The Emergency Situations Ministry reported that its hotline received information about the incident in Nizami district, prompting an immediate response from fire protection teams. Firefighting efforts are currently ongoing, with further updates expected.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of the fire.
