Finland Urges EU to Impose More Sanctions on Zionist Entity

Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has urged the European Union (EU) to implement further sanctions against Zionist entity in response to its ongoing aggression towards the Gaza Strip.
After attending the EU foreign ministers’ meeting in Luxembourg, where current developments in the Middle East were discussed, Valtonen informed reporters that talks regarding the expansion of sanctions against Zionist entity “are ongoing within the European Union.”
The Finnish foreign minister stressed that “a decisive action must be taken against Israel following the escalation of tensions in the region,” as reported by the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
She also mentioned that the EU’s earlier sanctions imposed on settlers who exploited Palestinian lands could potentially be broadened to target responsible Zionist officials as well.
Since October 7, 2023, Zionist entity has intensified its actions in Gaza and expanded its military operations to encompass various regions of Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut, through unprecedentedly violent airstrikes and a ground incursion into southern Lebanon.
