FC Barcelona to Return to Camp Nou on November 7 for Public Training

FC Barcelona will return to Camp Nou on November 7 for a public training session, marking the team’s first appearance at the stadium in over two years since renovation work began, the Catalan club announced Friday.

“The FC Barcelona men’s first team will officially return to Spotify Camp Nou on Friday, November 7, to hold an open training session in front of blaugrana supporters,” the club said in a statement.

The event will serve as an “operational test” ahead of a partial reopening of the stadium, which has been postponed several times and is now expected by the end of 2025.

Ticket prices are set at 5 euros for members and 10 euros for the general public, with all proceeds going to the “Pulseras Blaugranas” initiative supporting mental health programs for hospitalized children and adolescents, the club explained.

Around 23,000 fans are expected to attend, in line with the capacity limit of 27,000 set by the Barcelona City Council. Due to these restrictions, the club will continue playing at the Olympic Stadium in Montjuïc until it can host 45,000 fans again at Camp Nou.

The renovation delays have resulted in significant financial losses for FC Barcelona, which relies heavily on stadium-generated revenue to restore financial stability.

The club has estimated the total renovation cost at 1.5 billion euros. Once completed, the revamped stadium will accommodate 105,000 spectators, making it the largest in Europe.
