ALGIERS – Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, took part on Tuesday in Brussels in a coordination meeting between African foreign ministers and Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, ahead of the 3rd meeting of the foreign ministers of the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU), scheduled for Wednesday, according to a statement from the ministry.
This meeting was dedicated to the “coordination of positions and their unification among African countries regarding the various partnership areas between the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU), in order to present European partners with concrete and precise proposals that align with the development objectives of the African continent and respond to the aspirations of those countries and their peoples.”
