As part of its longstanding commitment to supporting Palestinians in need, the European Commission has unveiled a €120 million aid package for Gaza in response to the region’s recent developments. This initiative brings the EU’s total humanitarian assistance to Gaza to over €450 million since 2023, complementing over 3,800 tonnes of aid delivered through EU Air Bridge Flights.

The new aid package focuses on providing food security, healthcare, water and sanitation, shelter for the displaced, and protection for vulnerable populations. The EU will collaborate with UN agencies and other partners to ensure swift and effective delivery of the assistance.
