Ethiopia’s Constitutional Chief Pays Official Visit to Algeria’s Supreme Court

The Head of the Constitutional Inquiry Council of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Tewodros Mihret Kebede, paid a visit to the Supreme Court headquarters on Wednesday, where he was received by the First President of the Court, Tahar Mamouni, the Constitutional Court announced in a statement.
The meeting underscored the strength of historical ties between Algeria and Ethiopia, the statement said, adding that it represented a practical step toward expanding institutional partnership in judicial and constitutional matters to strengthen the rule of law and good governance across the African continent.
The visit came ahead of the 19th session of the Executive Bureau of the Conference of African Constitutional Jurisdictions, currently being hosted by Algeria.
