Erdogan Offers Mediation in Iran-Zionist Entity Conflict During Call with Pezeshkian

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation on Monday with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, to discuss the escalating confrontation between the Zionist entity and Iran, alongside broader regional and international developments.
According to Turkey’s Communications Directorate, Erdogan expressed Ankara’s readiness to act as a mediator to de-escalate the crisis and help revive nuclear negotiations. He also underscored Turkey’s commitment to regional peace and stability, adding that he has been in close contact with other world leaders over the ongoing conflict.
Tensions in the region have surged since Friday, when the Zionist entity carried out coordinated airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to retaliate with missile attacks. Iranian officials reported at least 224 deaths and more than 1,000 injuries in the Zionist assault, while the Zionist entity claimed 24 fatalities and hundreds wounded due to Iran’s strikes.
