Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit Kicks off in Doha

The emergency Arab-Islamic summit opened Monday in Doha to examine the Zionist aggression against Qatar, with the participation of the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, in his capacity as Special Representative of the Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
This summit, convened in response to the Zionist aggression against the State of Qatar, provides member states of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) with a renewed opportunity to review the latest developments in the Middle East and to strengthen their common stance on the matter.
The summit is discussing a draft declaration regarding the September 9 Zionist attack on the State of Qatar, which has for two years been mediating efforts to end the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that holding the Arab-Islamic summit at this precise moment carries great significance and symbolism, reflecting the broad Arab and Islamic solidarity with the State of Qatar in the face of the cowardly Zionist aggression targeting the residences of Hamas leaders, as well as the categorical rejection by these states of the terrorism practiced by the Zionist entity.
