Dozens Dead, Thousands Displaced as Zionist Entity Intensifies Assault on Gaza

The Zionist entity’s ongoing strikes across Gaza have claimed the lives of dozens of Palestinians, including a drone attack on a café in al-Mawasi, an area previously designated as a “safe zone” by Zionist forces.
Late Monday, an airstrike targeted a makeshift cafeteria in al-Mawasi, where displaced civilians had sought refuge. Officials at Nasser Hospital reported that the strike killed at least 11 people, including two children. Video footage showed rescuers pulling the wounded from a setup of tables and chairs within a sandy enclosure.
In northern Gaza, Palestinians were forced to flee shelters in Beit Hanoon, according to Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud, as the Zionist entity intensified its bombardment there. Mahmoud reported that evacuation centers, including a school sheltering hundreds, were surrounded, with soldiers urging women to head south, but preventing them from taking any aid. Drones reportedly targeted evacuees as they exited, attempting to frighten them into compliance.
“We were under continuous bombardment in Beit Hanoon,” said Sohair Abu Ouda, an evacuee. “They pounded the few buildings still standing all night. Many bodies remain buried under rubble, with no chance to bury our dead.”
In Khan Younis, 11 people were killed in strikes on vehicles, while another early Tuesday strike in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza killed three people, including a woman, according to al-Awda Hospital.
Since October 7, 2023, Palestinian health officials report that at least 43,665 people have been killed and over 103,000 wounded in the Zionist entity’s assault on Gaza
