Doha Summit Hails Algeria’s Support for Qatar, Palestine

The emergency Arab-Islamic summit, held yesterday, Monday in Doha, praised Algeria’s efforts in defending the sovereignty of the State of Qatar following the Zionist aggression against its territories, particularly through its call for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
The final communiqué issued at the close of this emergency summit hailed Algeria’s active role within the Security Council in support of the Palestinian cause, especially with regard to efforts aimed at ending the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and enabling the State of Palestine to obtain full membership in the United Nations.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune addressed a message to the participants of the Doha Summit, read on his behalf by Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, in which he reaffirmed Algeria’s support for the State of Qatar and its unwavering backing of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He also warned against the aggressive policies of the Zionist occupation in the Middle East, which he stressed pose a direct threat to international peace and security.
