Copa del Rey Semi-Finals: FC Barcelona vs. Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid vs. Real Sociedad
MADRID, February 12, 2025 – The semi-finals of the Copa del Rey will feature the exciting matchups between FC Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, as well as Real Madrid taking on Real Sociedad, following the draw conducted on Wednesday.
Barcelona, renowned as the most successful club in the tournament’s history with 31 titles, will first welcome Atlético to the Olympic Stadium in Montjuïc before traveling to the Metropolitano for the return leg. In contrast, reigning champions Real Madrid have drawn a more advantageous matchup, beginning their campaign with an away game at Anoeta against Real Sociedad, followed by a home fixture at Santiago Bernabéu.
This is the first occasion since 2014 that these three Spanish powerhouses have reached the final four. The matches are tentatively scheduled for February 25, 26, and 27, as well as April 1, 2, and 3, with official dates yet to be confirmed. The final will take place on April 26 at the Olympic Stadium of Cartuja in Seville, Andalusia.
