
ALGIERS, September 5, 2025 – Activities for the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), inaugurated on Thursday by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, continue today at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center and the Exhibition Palace (Pins Maritimes) in Algiers.
The second day features a diverse lineup of events, including Global Africa Diaspora Day, the Summit of African Investment Promotion Agencies, and a ministerial roundtable on “Intra-African Trade: From Vision to Reality.”
In addition, the fair is hosting the launch of the Africa Trade and Investment Forum (September 5–7), the Africa Automotive Show (September 5–10), and CANEX (Creative African Nexus) (September 5–10).
Alongside these events, the trade exhibition continues, offering B2B and B2G business meetings, as well as initiatives from the African Research and Innovation Hub and the African Union’s AU Youth Startup Program.
On Thursday, President Tebboune presided over the opening ceremony at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center, delivering a speech highlighting Algeria’s pride in hosting the event. He emphasized that “Algeria will actively contribute to efforts aimed at addressing development challenges on the continent.”
This year’s edition brings together over 2,000 companies from Africa and beyond, including nearly 200 Algerian firms, alongside delegations from 140 countries. Running from September 4 to 10, the fair expects approximately 35,000 professional visitors and aims to culminate in the signing of trade and investment agreements valued at over $44 billion.
