China Warns US Against Interference in Iran After Trump Threat

China has issued a blunt warning to the United States following remarks by US President Donald Trump, who vowed to take “very strong action” if Iran begins executing anti-government protesters. Beijing’s response signals heightened sensitivity to any rhetoric or measures that could escalate tensions surrounding Iran’s internal situation.

Speaking at a regular press briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said China firmly opposes any form of external interference in Iran’s internal affairs. She stressed that matters related to domestic governance and law enforcement fall under Iran’s sovereignty and should not be exploited by outside powers for political or strategic pressure.

Mao Ning also underlined Beijing’s broader position on international relations, stating that China does not support the use or threat of force as a means of resolving disputes. Her comments reflect China’s consistent emphasis on state sovereignty, non-interference, and diplomacy, particularly amid growing tensions between Washington and Tehran.
