ALGIERS – The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria, Li Jian, affirmed that his country wishes to deepen its cooperation with Algeria and raise the level of bilateral strategic partnership.
In a reception at the Palace of Culture Moufdi-Zakaria (Algiers), and on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, the ambassador said that his country wishes to “deepen its cooperation with Algeria.”
He hailed “Algeria’s reforms since 2019, by strengthening the performance of the administration, economic diversification, improving the business climate and the regained place of Algerian diplomacy.”
“The new Algeria has made notable progress both inside and outside the country, which have been widely welcomed by the international community and the Chinese side,” he said.
The Chinese diplomat also underlined the importance of “implementing the important conclusions reached by the two countries’ leaders to encourage investment and strengthen bilateral cooperation in several areas, such as digitization, industry and modern agriculture,” noting that “all these efforts are likely to raise the level of the strategic partnership between Algeria and China.”
