China opposes the U.S. decision to list Chinese entities on export control list

BEIJING – China’s Ministry of Commerce denounced on Sunday the US’s decision to add multiple Chinese entities to its export control list.
The United States placed 42 Chinese firms on a trade restriction list over accusations of supporting the Russian military.
“The move is a typical act of unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction,” said the spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Commerce in an online statement.
“It undermines the international trade order and rules, impedes normal international economic and trade exchanges, and affects the security and stability of the global industrial and supply chains,” added the same source.
Overall, the United States added 105 companies to its trade restriction list on Friday, including 63 Russian companies and 18 from other countries.
