Business Russia Chairman Notes Strong Investment Interest in Algeria

The Chairman of the Russian business organization “Business Russia”, Alexey Repik, said Wednesday, in Algiers, that Russian companies are ready to invest in various sectors of Algeria’s economy.

In a press statement following his reception by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Repik said Russian companies are ready to make every effort to develop the partnership with Algeria, which has one of Africa’s leading economies.

He noted that Russian companies are interested in launching projects in several areas, including pharmaceuticals, dairy production and e-commerce.

He added that Russian companies stand ready to back Algeria in achieving its export development objectives, particularly for the African market.
