Burkina Faso: Several Terrorists, Including Leaders, Neutralized by Army Operations

Several terrorists, including group leaders, have been “neutralized” in recent weeks during counterterrorism operations carried out by Burkina Faso’s Defense and Security Forces in different parts of the country, Burkina Faso National Television (RTB) reported.

The operations, conducted in the east, west, and north of the country, also led to the capture of armed militants and the recovery of equipment, RTB said Sunday evening, citing military sources.

In addition, several terrorist bases were successfully bombarded by Burkinabè air forces, the same source added.
