Brazil: Two Dead and Two Injured in Plane Crash in Sao Paulo

SAO PAULO, February 7, 2025 – A small aircraft crashed into vehicles in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Friday, resulting in two fatalities and two injuries, according to local firefighters.
“Two charred bodies were discovered inside the wrecked plane. A bus driver sustained injuries upon impact, along with a motorcyclist who was riding nearby,” emergency services reported.
The aircraft, identified as a King Air F90, went down in the western part of the city, specifically in an area known as Marquês-de-São-Vicente. The plane was attempting an emergency landing when it struck a bus, which subsequently caught fire. Emergency responders are currently working to determine if there are any additional victims.
Television footage captured a bus engulfed in flames following the incident.
The plane, which has a capacity for eight passengers, took off from Campo de Marte at 7:15 AM, as reported by pilots operating in the same vicinity to TV Globo.
It is believed that the aircraft attempted to execute an emergency landing on the avenue’s runway before crashing.
